Getting started
Account, onboarding, and finding your way around the feed for the first time.
This section walks you through the path from signing up to having your first localized draft on screen.
Create a HermesAI account. Solo journalists and small teams can be running in a few minutes; bigger teams should plan a short setup with their newsroom owner.
Run onboarding
Set publication identity, choose a vertical, pick the sources you want HermesAI to watch. This is required before you can enter the feed.
First look at the feed
Open the feed, read the signals around each story, and open your first localized draft.
Already onboarded?
If your newsroom is already set up and you're being invited as a teammate, jump straight to Roles overview to see what your role can do, then to the Newsroom feed.
What you'll need
A working email
HermesAI uses email-based sign-in via Clerk. No password to remember if you don't want to.
Your publication name
The name your audience knows you by. Used inside drafts as voice context — not as a public byline.
A primary vertical
The beat you cover most: politics, tech, sports, food, climate, markets — anything.
Some source ideas
Outlets you trust as starting points. You can add more later, including custom RSS / sitemap feeds.
