The feed
Triage international coverage at speed. Read the signals, filter the noise, decide what to open.
The feed is your front door. Most days you spend more time here than anywhere else in HermesAI.
What the feed shows
Each row is a story HermesAI is tracking — a clustered event with one or more sources covering it.

How to triage
Skim the top of the feed
The feed is sorted by recency and confidence. Read the headline and glance at confidence + conflict markers.
Filter when needed
Use filters for category, source tier, sensitive-only, conflicts-only, or unread. Filters compose — combine them.
Open or skip
Click into a story to read the draft, or move past it. Skipped stories stay in the feed; nothing is dismissed permanently.
Watch quota pressure
The feed shows your monthly AI capacity status near the top. Approaching 100% means new draft generation pauses unless overage is enabled.
Filtering and sorting
- Category — politics, tech, sports, etc. (your taxonomy).
- Source tier — wire / tier 1 / tier 2 / tier 3.
- Confidence — high, medium, or low only.
- Conflicts only — show stories where sources disagree.
- Sensitive only — show stories that hold for review.
- Phase — see only review queue, only published, etc.
- Unread — exclude stories you've already opened.
- Search — full-text search across headline + summary.
- Recency (default) — newest source coverage first.
- Confidence — highest confidence first.
- Source count — broadest coverage first.
- Freshness — most recently updated cluster first.
What "queued" means
Queue vs feed
A story can appear in the feed before its draft is fully composed. The phase badge tells you where it is. If you click into a "synthesizing" story, you may see a placeholder draft — running compose generates the first localised article.
This is normal. Stories enter the feed as soon as the cluster is identified, and the draft catches up.
Capacity and overage
The feed surfaces capacity pressure at three thresholds:
50%
Visible reminder. No action needed — draft generation continues normally.
80%
Warning. Plan upgrade or seat addition is the calm response if your team is on track.
100%
Tenant-billable AI requests pause until next billing period unless overage is enabled in the subscription.
